2nd Camper but still a newbie

Hello! I'm so excited to be a member of this forum! I've been reading it for a while! There is so much great info on here. We are picking up our Rockwood mini lite 2504s tmrw at Jamatt Rv. We are so excited! We had a wildwood X-lite and were not overly happy with it. Hoping this one will be better! Any thought on the differences between the two? Also any tips for PDI would be much appreciated. Is a PDI something you have to ask for or do they just do it. Also do they hook up electricity and water and everthing to make sure it all works? Thanks!

Hi there!

You should check with your dealer about the PDI but it should be part of the transaction. Check everything during the PDI/Walkthrough. It's easier to get issues taken care of before leaving the lot than afterwards. A good dealer will have completed a PDI before you arrive for the walk-through & delivery. Use your smartphone to take pictures or video tape the training. During my walk-through all systems were tested in my presence while I learn how everything worked.

Welcome to the forum and your new purchase of mini lite. Make sure to do the PDI and take notes cause there is lots to remember. Later RJD
