My first wife and I traveled for 3 1/2 months in a 18' Layton when I got out of the Navy and saw 37 states. Since that time my wife passed away after 43 years of marriage, and I met a wonderful woman who lost her husband after 47 years. She had never spent a night in a trailer or motorhome. Well we recently bought a 27' fifth wheel and plan to go to Florida for 6 weeks. I have taken her out for 2 short trips in the last 4 months and she loves it. I had some reservations since she had never spent a night. But we are looking forward to this trip and many others over the next few years. Glad to be back on the road for the second time after 45 years.
