8317 Signature Ultra Lite Bounce

Hi. We purchased a 2011 8317 Signature Ultra Lite this past May and have it set-up on a seasonal lakeside site. I have been visiting this forum regularly since we acquired our Rockwood and have found it very friendly and informative. We love the trailer, particularly the oudoor kitchen. Our Concerto sound management system has been working great. Our only real ssue to date is the amount of bounce we feel whenever anyone walks or moves around in the trailer. The stabilzing jacks are blocked tight to the frame. This is our first Ultra Lite, and am hesitant in adding additional blocking or stabilizing jacks. Any comments or suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks.

We have a 2010 Rockwood 8315BSS and I made a set of wheel x chocks that I found out about on this forum and also use 4 small aluminum frame screw jacks under the axles and find that this reduces the bounce a lot.

Welcome to FRF.

I replaced the rear stabilizers with scissor jacks, then installed the stabilizer ahead of the front axle. This stopped the bounce, when walking or moving about, in the trailer.
