A New B-class in Calgary
I guess I don't have to lurk anymore, yesterday we bought a new 2015 Forester 2801QS GTS and take possession in two weeks. Pretty excited, I plan on doing some serious fishing, taking vacations with my wife and going to RC boat races. I've had trailers in the past and done a lot of camping but nothing as deluxe as this. My wife is a newbie and it's going to be great sharing trips with her.
But thanks for all the info shared here it's been a great help already in making the deal.

Thanks to all, it's pretty exciting, I have a Hobie Pro Angler 14 on order to drag behind, it's going to be an amazing rig.

Welcome from Ontario and congratulations on your new rig. Should be able to get a trip in before the snow starts.

We did our maiden voyage to Fairmont Hot Springs last weekend and had a great time. Thanks to this forum I've figured out how everything works. A couple problems but not too serious the solar controller is totally wired wrong on the battery side but the dealer will straighten it out next week. The other thing we noticed was when the furnace is on the door gets hard to close. The heat is causing the doorframe to expand and bind by the latch. But otherwise it was fantastic can't wait for the fishing trips next year.
