After pick up...

Hi all, new member here and new Cherokee owner. Not our first camper, but our first Forest River- and first brand new camper.

We purchased a 2018 Cherokee 274DBH. I took delivery yesterday- everything looked great on the walk through, no problems with the pull home.

What do I need to do next as far as warranties, product registrations, road side support, etc? I know there are many things to finalize but have any of you found a "list" of all these things?

I didn't have anything to fill out after purchase. There are a few manufacturers that offer extended warranty and you can opt for that.
I would get a pad and write down all the model and serial numbers for the appliances and accessories of your RV as well as a pic of the stickers on the RV. I would unroll the awning and take a pic of the tag and and a pic of the label on the axles. May not ever need it, but it is nice if you need a parts it is a blessing...O.K. you will definitely need some of it.

I would skim through your paperwork, several of the appliances in ours included mail in warranty forms. And as noted above, try to find as many serial numbers as possible. Our purchase came with 1 yr free road side support, so i can put that decision off until October.
Welcome to the forum from MN.

Welcome from Kentucky and we recently picked ours up, and there was some paperwork with all the model #'s and Serial #'s to the appliances in our "packet" from the dealer. Was kind of nice.

You don't have to mail in any warranty forms anymore. The only thing required is proof of the date of purchase if you have a warranty issue. Mail them in if you wish but the government says not needed, warranty can't be denied just because you failed to mail in a postcard. Do keep a list of model and serial numbers of all the various appliances and accessories that are installed. If you check your paperwork it should tell you that you have 1 year of Coachnet roadside service is included.

Also since you are a new Forest River owner go to Forest River Owners Group - The official owner's group of Forest River RV, manufacturer of world-class recreational vehicles. and become a FROG. Membership is free so just register then check the events dropdown and join us at one of the many Rallys around the country.
