All in on the first hand

My wife and I discussed buying an RV for about the last 8 years. About two months ago we finally settled on one from a dealer that still had them new from 2006/2007. We have spent about 30 days traveling on leave with it (a week close to home base to get the bugs worked out, 399 trips to Wal-Mart and the house later!) We will be doing some long term Rving over the next year while I transition to a new job with the Army... enjoying it to say the least.

Congratulations and welcome to RVing.
Sounds like you found a deal. Be sure to keep an eye on your tires tho. They may have full tred life, but they are still four or five years old. Read the tire threads to learn more.
Be safe, have fun

Ahhh, those trips to Walmart will never end! My wife came home today and said "I only spent $150!" ONLY $150, She was only going there for milk and eggs!

Welcome to the forums. Hope this is the first of many enjoyable years of RVing for you guys.

Really??? New 2006 and 07's yet. That is amazing. As was mentioned, watch for checking on the tires as dealers don't cover them and they age rapidly with exposure to the sun and heat. They also don't get moved very often and may start to rot on the bottoms. Still, it sounds like a good find and we hope you have many years of good camping. Old Guys
