Am I finally home?

Hello All! My name is Brian. My wife, Nicole, along with our daughter, joined the RV community in December of last year. We hit it hard, taking our travel trailer from Washington to Texas, Yellowstone, and numerous campgrounds throughout Washington. We originally bought a 2015 26' Jayco and learned some hard lessons about delamination, tire blowouts, questionable craftsmanship, faulty wiring, rust, and warranties. That's all behind us now, and the good camping memories made over the year were worth the learning pains. We are now the proud owners of a Rockwood Signature Ultra-lite 8312SS. I had written off the last TT as a learning tool and almost enjoyed fixing the numerous issues. Couldn't pass up the deal though, and hopefully learned enough to protect our newest memory maker. I look forward to reading your posts and will promise to add some writeups on any modifications and upgrades. Anyone in western Washington who wants to throw some wood on the fire, just let me know when and where.

Greetings from Western MD to the PNW! While our "mountains" don't stack up to yours, sometimes it's still a challenge around here.
I'll be heading "home" to your neck of the woods to visit my mother for her 85th B-day in 3 weeks. Hope your weather is nice.

Congrats! Welcome to the forum!

To save some time and confusion in the future, be sure to check the model number of your camper... a 8312SS is a two slide front queen with rear bunkhouse and outdoor kitchen floor plan... you seem to have a front kitchen

Hi there, my husband and I also came from being a dedicated Jayco user to our new Rockwood Signature 5th wheel. We are very satisfied with this Forest River company in that they seem to care about their customers. We have used this 5th wheel for a couple of months and have had a great camping and traveling experience.
