Another "Hello" from OH-I-O!
New to Forest River & Travel Trailers overall! My family just purchased a 2015 Salem 30KQBSS TT and will be picking it up this weekend. Sort of an impulse purchase - been looking for a while but didn't expect the find the right unit at the right price that quickly. Still a lot of work to do (find storage, insurance, etc.). Looking forward to enjoying time with my wife and 3 boys!

Thanks everyone! We are very excited to become of part of this community and the camping lifestyle! As much as you think you've prepared for the purchase, it's still a bit overwhelming... kind of like having kids, I guess! I have been reading some of the archive posts on delivery inspection and things to watch out for. The unit we are buying is being sold 'as is', but fortunately the original owner appears to have been meticulous in upkeep and maintenance. We also opted to pay the RV dealer (Avalon RV in Medina, OH) for a full inspection/diagnostic review just for the peace of mind. If they find anything wrong they will repair it, and we'll do a complete walk-through at delivery. I've already booked a site at Mohican State Park in central Ohio next weekend so we are ready to dive in!
