Another newbie

I'm on my way to the dealership to buy a used 2014 freedom express liberty edition 292bhds or a new 310bhds. No warranty on the used one scares me. But at $20,000 it's hard to beat.

Hi there!

Deciding between an brand new unit and an used unit can be tough. Floor plan is a very important factor with selecting an RV. As with any used units I would question why the previous owner traded in an 2014 RV. You will be surprised how often it is the floor plan. Also would have it inspected by someone else than the dealership to look for signs of trouble since you are not getting an warranty with it.

Buying new will include an warranty but often used units are cheaper so you take less of hit when leaving with it.

Good luck.

If you go with a new unit you can get a two year warranty, can you get a warranty with the used one?

Yes the new one will have the depreciation, but then so do most things.

Will you have problems with the new one, you bet you will.

Will you have problems with the used one, better believe it.

It is your money, be sure you get the worth out of it.
