Another Newbie from Colorado

Picked up a 2016 Grey Wolf 19RR a couple weeks ago and came across this forum during my research. Already found some great information, so thanks!

The wife and I took it out for a shake down trip with a couple friends last weekend and everything went well for the most part (well except getting out of the very tight radius pull through site at Horsetooth resovior...but hey a 30+ point turn is one way to learn right? )

We live in Littleton and plan on getting a good amount of use out of the new toy this summer, any recommendations from locals on their favorite spots that aren't the typical overcrowded Colorado destinations during the summer would be much appreciated!

Welcome to the forums! Congrats on your nice looking unit. I've done a couple 30+ point turns myself. The first time was minutes after driving off the dealer's lot when I stopped to get a cold soda at a fast food place. The second time when I was trying to make a U-turn only to find out I was entering a drive-thru line by mistake. I can honestly say that I have learned this lesson and will not repeat it again. LOL

Congratulations! We're in Littleton, too! We picked up our new camper in February & haven't dewinterized it yet - hopefully this weekend will be our last snow! We're sure anxious for that first trip!

We just took ours out still winterized the first weekend and just didn't use the water. Nice to have a bed and a heater this time of year!
