Talking Another newbie here !!

Hi, after camping in tents,pop-ups,and being a Sunline owner since 1980 be are picking up our 2010 Rockwood 8315SS this weekend. We were always happy with Sunline. We think the quality of the Rockwood is equal and the weight difference is a plus. In 2 weeks we are leaving for the maiden voyage for a week . Looking for pros or cons reguarding the purchase. We are happy to be included in the Forest River family.

Welcome.
I think you will find the Rockwood to be one of the best units for the $$
I have heard nothing but praise for the Sunliners. Too bad they went out of business.
Friends also moved from Sunline to Rockwood
Enjoy the new trailer with all that extra space.

Sunliners

We too were Sunliners. Our 2000 280SR was the best tt we ever owned. I hope the Rockwood/Flagstaff can equal the Sunline. From what I read, they come pretty darn close.

to the forums...Also a former Sunline owner (a 1998 2670) and loved the unit. When the trailers with slides started appearing, we knew we had to have one and purchased a 2003 Cherokee...unit was fine,(dealer was the "pits") quality was as good as Sunline so I think you will be happy with the Forest River products, We are curently into our 2nd forest river TT and with a few minor "bugs" we are enjoying it. Lots of great info on this site, its been a real help for me and many others. Anyway...Good Luck
