Another Texan

This might be a bit premature as I don't own a Forester yet but TOMORROW I pick up our new Forester 3011DS.

We've been camping for a few years in a 38 foot 5th wheel but family circumstances changed and there was no need to haul that thing around with so much wasted and unused space. After much hunting and sight seeing, we decided to go the class "C" route mainly because my wife found a floorplan she really liked. We're really exited about it. We've already got our long week-end break-in trip planned followed by a longer first trip in May, building up to the "big" one in August.

I've already learned a lot from researching on this board and hope to contribute as my book learning turns in to real world experience.

Welcome ETF. What part of Texas are you in? Congrats on the new digs. Sounds like you're an old pro with a new plan! Hope to see you down the road.

Sorry for the delay. Been busy.

I'm in NE Texas, just outside the town of Mineola.

Ah, my old stomping grounds...sorta. I graduated High School in Grand Saline. I bought my first car in Mineola. We were there a couple of months ago. My wife's kinda gotten into antiquing, and Mineola is a hidden gem for antique stores!
