Ants
Good morning folks! Lots of good info on here. have enjoyed our camping experiences greatly, except once! camped 8 - 10 times this year with only 2 problems!~ first one, wasn't sure about the water availably, so filled my fresh water tank before leaving home- nice campground but rough road getting there and the braces gave way and dropped my water tank, dragged it a ways till it broke loose. that was an experience..
The other one was ants! pulled into a great campground on the lake, attendant said they had a little problem with ants this year. hum-- as we went to our space, several campers had these white powder rings around them--- hum got set up - that night about 2 am- little tiny ants started biting my wife and I.- got up- THEY WERE EVERYWHERE! used all the bug spray and ant killer we had- then next morning we had them controlled, a neighbor come over with a spray tank and put a ring around the camper, the jacks, levelers, hoses and we finally got rid of them. quite a night though. anyone else have problems with ants? and what did you do?
