autoleveling system Cedar creek 5th wheel

Hi ,
I recently bought a 2013 Cedar Creek 5th wheel with auto levelling . It seems really stable . Do you still need to use a King Pin stabilizer and chocks with this system ?

Well, don't have auto leveling but would believe you DEFINITELY should still use chocks! Those should be the first thing on the ground and the last thing picked up, not so much for stabilization but just controlling the trailer from rolling. The King Pin stabilizer is probably not as necessary but then not sure how much movement you find acceptable.

I have a similar set-up. No, you don't need either. It is sitting on 6 hydraulic cylinders. It isn't going anywhere. I don't even carry a jack anymore.

MC9, I have read over on the cedar creek owners forum that most members there still recommend a basic chock at least during the hitch and unhitch portion of your trip when the coach is no longer sitting on all the jacks, just the landing gear. I myself would rather err on the side of caution. After that, i agree that the chock is going to serve little purpose since as you say it is sitting on 6 points of contact with the ground.
