MC9, I have read over on the cedar creek owners forum that most members there still recommend a basic chock at least during the hitch and unhitch portion of your trip when the coach is no longer sitting on all the jacks, just the landing gear. I myself would rather err on the side of caution. After that, i agree that the chock is going to serve little purpose since as you say it is sitting on 6 points of contact with the ground.
