Been lurking but have not introduced myself
I'm Rick and my wife of soon to be 48 years is Dee. I'm old, fat and retired (43 years as an electronics tech). She not quite as old, won't mention body type or shape (don't need frying pan to head) and is still working to support my bad habits.
Long time campers. Started out in mid 1970's with a 7X7 pup tent, 2 sleeping bags, a folding Sterno stove and 2 changes of clothes on our 1976 Kawasaki KZ400. Graduated to a Coleman Colorado in mid 80's with an Izuzu Pup tv. Traded it for what I paid for it when we got our 1990 unit new.
Outside of the east and west coasts our Coleman has been pretty much everywhere in the US. A couple trips North of the border too. Was just getting a little creaky (like its owner) so update time and pass it on down to our daughter who just does local trips.
We are in the process (and a long one at that) of updating from our 1990 Coleman Roanoke to a 2018-1/2 Flagstaff 206LTD (born 2/2018 but has 2019 led tail lights on it. Not really our first choice but had not figured in getting a heavier unit when I updated my tv (duh). Will be posting a couple dealer reviews when this is all over and done.
Anyway... what a great resource of info this forum is. It is now a daily stop for me. Don't really care if the posts pertain to my type of unit. Just tons of great info about everything.
Have a great day!!
