Big Change...

The wife and I just completed a 7 month, 50 state trip with our 2008 Raptor toy hauler and 2011 Chevy Sliverado with a Duramax diesel. We had our 2005 Goldwing in the toy hauler. We put 25,000 miles on the truck and 9,000 on the Goldwing. This trip was to celebrate our recent retirement.

At the end of the trip we traded the Raptor for a 2018 Dynamax DX3 Super C motorhome, the big change I alluded to in the title.

We are looking forward to getting familiar with the Dynamax and all of its systems, several of which are much more modern (complicated) than we had (or didn't have at all) on the Raptor.

We expect to do trips during the summer for a week or two at a time and then from October to March be in the southwest, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and Utah.

Will be watching the forum from time to time.

That is awesome. I retire in nine years and we have similar plans. Probably won't do 50 states (Hawaii is such a long drive) but things like the Grand Canyon and Niagara Falls are must stops.

We're also toy hauler people and have no plans to change. But who knows what will be available in nine years.
