Boaters Coming Ashore

We have been cruising the East Coast for over 30 years and decided it is time to see some of the country! We have ordered a Flagstaff V-Lite 30WFKS (wife liked the Galley - kitchen?) due to come in mid-October. Have a Chrysler Aspen w/Hemi tow package for TV. Ordered P3 Brake Controller and Husky Centerline WD. Can't wait to share pictures and experiences.

Welcome back to dry land (well sometimes). It's funny but you aren't the first to leave the boat and make the move to RVs. Hope you enjoy the new rig.

We made the same move 4 yrs ago. Often wonder why we waited 20 yrs to make the switch. Glad we did as now we are both happy

We were planning to retire on our boat, but moved to an RV. I still miss boating, but we are now on our 5th RV and have coved 46 states and love it.

Thanks for the welcome

Glad to hear boaters are enjoying the land cruising. We have delayed doing this because we couldn't sell the boat. Still have it - decided not to wait any longer. Will have to figure out how to do both. Can't wait

Welcome!! You will find many parallels between boating and RVs. Remember the old adage about a boat being a hole in the water into which you throw money? Well, an RV is a box on the highway....

Welcome ashore!! As boaters you already know more than many
RV'ers about the care and feeding of an RV potty!!
Many here argue about what toilet paper breaks down the fastest.
As an old houseboater, I say don't put any in there and you'll
have no problems!!

Welcome to the forum.
Happy Camping!
