Canadian Newbie

Hi There: Just caught the RV bug, and am looking at the Lacrosse 327RES lite trailer.I had been looking at 5th wheels but don't want to buy an 80 grand pickup to sit in the driveway for most of the year.

Hope to have some good discussions here and learn a lot, as I have never owned an RV before.

Mason

Welcome to the forum. Selecting, owning, using, and maintaining an RV is definately a learning curve. There's alot of friendly, knowledgable and helpful people here to help you. Just don't skimp on the tow vehicle.

Considering the size and weight of that unit, I am not sure why you have ruled out a fifth wheel. You will need a 3/4 ton for the Lacrosse.
That does look like a nice camper.
Enjoy camper hunting, but remember to be realistic!

I'll second the comment - "don't skimp on the tow vehicle"

How much traveling do you want to do? And to where?
Are some questions to consider.

A lite can be towed with the new heavy halfs, but you'll seriously want to stay in the 3/4 ton as suggested for a TT that long.

We didn't go with a 5er for a number of reasons, but don't rule it out.

Hope this helps.
