Cardinal 5th Wheel

New to the forum. Just bought a Cardinal 2006 5th wheel with 2 slide outs and is just today going to get in it and start making it "ours". Its rained so much we didn't want to track mud in and out.

Just wanted to see how all this worked on the forum.

Water filter cartridge

CC1-10-C WATER FILTER
This is what I'm looking for. Its by Water pur and I don't want to pay an arm and a leg, if you know what I mean. Where can I find these?
Can I find them at Lowes? I was there last night, but they don't have any with matching numbers.
Help please...

For our Cardinal I've been getting the water filters at Camping World. They have the right model, but they are a bit pricey.
Another option is not to use the built-in system and add a water filter to your water hoes.

Yes, the filter elements are a standard size. You can get them at any place like Lowes. The prices will reflect what sorts of things the filter will trap. Lease expensive is sediment. Most expensive is sediment/parasite/taste/odor. Pick the one you feel will do what you want to do. BTW take the old filter element with you the first time to be sure you get the correct fit. there are literally hundreds of choices.

Thanks everybody. We went to Camping World and I found one there. I haven't tried it yet, but the salesperson was positive it would fit. I had the numbers from the unit it fits in. They didn't have the exact brand, but she thinks it will fit.
