Carefree Arizona newbie

Greeting all! I just purchased a Palomino SS 1240 Badlands for my Ram 3500 and am very excited to be heading to midwest to pick it up soon. This is my third truck pop up (Northstar & Fourwheel previous ones) and am cautiously optimistic about the performance of this unit. It was significantly less expensive than my previous units and am hoping the quality compromise is not going to be critical.

I looked through the strings and did not see anyone chiming in on their SS 1240 or similar. I have several things I'd like to modify when I get mine and was hoping to learn vicariously from others experiences on what they did to their units or someone to bounce ideas off of.

Thanks and go where you feel most alive!

Welcome to FRF!
Just to let you know, Palomino is the only FR division that makes truck campers. So our Truck Camper sub-forum is not that active, since very few of our members own one.
But those that do, are very helpful.
