Checking in

Sorry for the late 'check in'....

My Dear wife and I have had some sort of camping rig most of our 46 years of marriage, from VW vans to larger camper vans then to 5th wheels.

We live in the Pacific Northwest , known as the "NorthWet" , Nanaimo, Vancouver Island B.C. Canada.

Now retired, we are looking forward to returning to some of our favorite locations South.
I have been posting some questions and helping with a few replies here on Forest River Forums and can not help notice what a Great Forum that has been developed and maintained by dedicated experienced RVer's.
Thank you all .
-Islander-

Hi there! You mentioned camping in an VW van and it brought back memories from my childhood. My aunt & uncle has a big family with 7 kids. They would pack everyone in their VW van and go tent camping.

I agree about all the amazing members making this a great site!

Welcome! We are, also, newbies in this site but have already found some great information. (I'm always looking up stuff in the search engine above and learning a lot, even though we've been RV'ers, part-time, for about 5 years.)

Welcome - from the east end of the ferry route! We live about 3/4 mile from the terminal, just over on the south side of the ridge.
