Chicago R-pod

Hello all. I'm relatively new to the RV world. Purchased my 2014 R-POD 179 last year and took a few trips, the first being Goshen, which saved me from making some newbee mistakes. The many wonderful people I met there I hope to call lifelong friends. It was positively delightful to find I had become a member of the eclectic R-pod community, and the larger FROG family.

My pod is sometimes referred to as "Nola's Ark" because of its multi species cargo. Granola, or Nola, is my Guinea Pig, famous for his Agility course and bomb sniffing expertise. He is accompanied by my two cats, brothers rescued when their stray mother was killed. Jet and Tie overcame their early fear of the little guy, and now love their Guinnea pig brother. The last member of my crew is Ski, my ten year old Rottweiler. Ski is accomplished in many dog sports, including Agility, Treibball, Tricks, Nose Work, Barn Hunt, Freestyle Dance, Rally Obedience, and so on. As for me, well I'm a computer troubleshooter who is finally taking time for himself after 23 years without a vacation or a week off. I will now focus more on my other profession, that of a positive-reinforcement dog trainer, or Clicker Trainer. The pod is my way of seeing the world with my animals safely at my side.

The Adventures Begin!
