Countdown to camp out.

Hello, folks. I am new to RV culture, here. Looking at pull trailers since this time last year, eligible, but not choosing retirement yet. We shopped around and canvassed our friends with experience looking to get a feel for what we needed balanced with affordability. Looking for an online ad, trying to get a photo look inside another trailer, a 1998 Rockwood Ultra lite T2505 was posted for sale just 2 blocks from here only 2 hours prior online. Verryy clean and bolstered by a stack of service receipts going back to day, 1 we shook hands in about 15 min. We will be wiggling it into an undeveloped heavily forested lake front property next week, to get a feel for the land and make decisions on where to put the future home that will be built there. Looking forward to camping, sharing and grateful for this forum. I have already changed the automatic reset circuit breaker with help from another thread. This being a well cared for unit and an honest seller, we trust there were no concealed surprises , although we accept the inevitabllty of ongoing age related "issues". Happy camping days everyone ! Thanks.

Welcome to the forum. I hope you checked out roof good as this is where most water leaks start. It's a 17 year old trailer so hope all is good unless you gave the wrong age of the camper. Later RJD

Yes, thank you very much. We were shown a receipt for a pro repair done to the roof after a leak at the a/c. Inspected and OK'd mould free. And advised regarding constant monitoring and annual roof upkeep by the seller and happy to find this forum for educational needs regarding potential troubles and effective preventative products. I would have reached for the silicone, otherwise.
