Customer Service - Positive

My wife and I are now empty nesters and recently decided to get back into camping. Well sort of camping, ever since my time in Vietnam with the Marines I think camping means a dry bed and enclosed toilet in the middle of nature somewhere. At any rate we wanted something we could pull with a small SUV since I'm not retired yet and needed for the tow vehicle to park in a small downtown parking space. We purchased a Roo 17 at the end of 2015 and began to make it ours. In February we were able to put together a short list of factory issues to be corrected so I called the dealer to get it in. Was given an appointment for the middle of March to bring it in and did so. It sat on the lot for a month with no activity when we picked it up to go camping. (imagine that we wanted to use our new trailer) In frustration I sent an email off to Forest River expressing my frustration and describing the problem. WOW!!!! got an email back within a couple of hours and the issues were resolved. While the dealer will never see me again if I can help it, I have a new respect for the company. I have nothing but praise for the people at the "home office". Happy Camping!!!

Very good to know. We selected our dealer based on reviews on Yelp. I don't know how great of an idea that is but anyway. We pick up our 1st RV Saturday. My husband is practically an expert (obsessive?) vehicle inspector and also has a big list of stuff to go over (from Tom Boles he found online) so I can't imagine how long this will take. I'm somewhat apprehensive. Reading this forum makes me think you can get a RV made by professional airplane builders or a bunch of drunk monkeys!
