Damaged my Georgetown 351DS Electric Coupling

Hi all. I picked up my new Georgetown 351DS and just returned from our first weekend trip. The coach performed very well; however upon return I backed the coach into my driveway and make a horrible rookie mistake - I did not realize that the electric coupling used to connect to one's tow vehicle hangs slightly lower than the coach at the rear and it ripped apart by hitting the lip of my driveway. The coupling is now hanging loosely behind the coach. Is there an easy fix to this or is the best option to take it to a Ford truck service depot and have them replace the coupling sleeve and reattach? Any advice would be much appreciated - I am very annoyed at myself for doing this to our brand new coach

Thanks to all in advance!

Welcome and congrats on your 351! Sorry to hear about your mishap. There was a thread in the Georgetown section, I believe. I'll try to find it and post it back here. Definitely a DYI!

Sorry to hear about the accident, but welcome to the club. On my first big adventure with my new coach last year I scraped the side on a toll booth in Ohio and scraped the awning on a tree when pulling in to a tight spot at Lake George in New York. I was feeling pretty bad about it and I met a couple of other Class A owners there who relayed some stories of their experiences that made me feel much better. Mine was minor indeed. Have fun with your new coach!
