drain valve

I have a 2015 Coachman Leprechaun 260 DS. Does anybody know where the fresh water drain valve is located? It is not behind the low point cover. Also, if I blow out the lines with air do I have to worry about any residual water that may be in water pump?

Welcome to the forum its a great place to get your questions answered.
When you blow air thru the city water connection it goes thru your potable water lines and not the pump because of the check valve. the water before the pump should drain back to the potable water tank when you drain the tank. If you start the pump with the tank empty it should suck air and push the last of the water out the discharge side. I did this for years with the Class A without problems. However I really recommend going the antifreeze route.

The fresh water drain is usually located below the unit at the fresh water tank.

How careful you have to be in winterizing depends on your location. Around here, close is good enough. In fact, most years I don't winterize at all.

Having said that, once you 'blow out' the lines, check the suction strainer on the pump and make sure it doesn't have any water in the bottom of it, and you should be good.
