Factory tours

We will be picking up our new Rockwood 2703 WS in Elkhart in early October. We plan to remain in the area for a few days to work out any issues from the DPI. As long as we are in the area I thought we would try to schedule a tour of the Rockwood factory. I looked on the FR website to find a contact person to see what tours are available but could not find any information about tours.

Does anyone know if tours are available and how we would go about setting one up?

Call Forest River, ask for the number of the Rockwood / Flagstaff plant, and call them. With advanced notice, someone there should be able to arrange a tour for you, especially since you are picking up a new unit.

Congrats on your new Rookwood! Early October is right around the corner too. Be sure to test out everything during your walk-through/PDI. And be picky too. It's easier to get issues taken care before you drive off the lot than later on.

Ditto on what Capt. Mike said about the factory tour. I'm sure you will be able to arrange it with giving advance notice. I got a tour from the plant in my area and found it interesting to see how they put together the RVs.
