Fifth wheel hitch support

New to the fifth wheel. We just ordered a Cedar Creek 34 RLSA. We will be seasonal and what to know if we need a support for the hitch. Thanks.

if your are talking about the tripod you see people using on 5th wheels, that is not a support. That is used for stabilizing purposes, not holding weight.

I only add this as I am new to 5th wheels too and have used the wrong terminology myself. The part on the trailer is called the king pin and king pin box. The thing in the bed of your truck is the hitch.
