Finally picked it up!

We are in southern Indiana and just picked up our new 2018 Wildwood X-lite 261bhxl yesterday. So excited to get out, wish the weather here would cooperate better. Got an old tt we used twice so we aren't exactly new, but will have allot to learn over the road. Hopefully rain will quit tomorrow and I can get gear moved over from old trailer tomorrow. Going shopping today to pick up some essentials, mainly bedspreads and basics for now.

Thank you all, spent the wet rainy day buying new bedding and some kitchen wares. My Amazon list is entirely to long though, so don't tell the wife lol!

Don’t worry, I’m sure she can keep up if she wants to. [emoji4]Congrats on the new trailer!

Very nice! Wish we could have some rain to wash off the dust and dirt off the TT.

Safe and happy travels.

Ditto!

We picked up our Cedar Creek 34RE today. Spent the afternoon loading up and playing with the new toys. The furnace was a nice feature. It works.

Headed for Mammoth Ky tomorrow.

Scary! The local weather people predicted 4-7 inches of snow this morning.

As we were finishing our first hook up it started snowing like crazy. About to pull the #12,000 fifth wheel.

Went 2 miles north and the snow stopped! Lucky us. Fifth wheels drive easier than a trailer.

Have fun. We are outta here tomorrow(Dayton, Ohio).

You can keep your snow and sleet. Actually some snow would be nice. The desert spring winds of the American Southwest are brutal. Windshields and headlamp covers look like they went through a sand blaster. My storage is all gravel, but the lots across the street and others around it are all dirt and are doing a number on the TT. Sure I can wash it, but it will look the same in a week. March to June are our worst time for the winds. Last weekend 65 mph gusts and couldn't even see the mountain range only 20 miles from the house.

We may not have a Nor'easter, but I don't think you want to go down the road with 65 mph gusts.

Safe and happy travels.
