First R-Pod, First RVer, First Campers!

Hi All- First 'a lots' for us here in Vermont! Lot of questions, experienciing lots frustration with poor workmanship, finding lots of help from forums and needing lots of advice! Can't wait for our first trip to the White Mountains of NH to camp with family coming up, not too far in case of disaster. We decided on Forest River's R-pod becase it was just so darn cute, small and lightweight but the dealer we chose was maybe not the right choice! Anyway, looking forward to many fun times and interesting travels.

Welcome!

R-pods are a very slick design. The workmanship issue seems to be universal. My 2: unless there is something major, fix the piddly stuff your self and move on. The dealer will probably take forever, not fix everything the first time, and not fix it right.

Forum Members Thank You

Thank you all for the welcome and for all the advice and great tips we've picked up. Found and fixed (fingers crossed) the leaks and creaks and will be off on our first adventure!

Sorry it didn't finish: congrats on your new R-Pod. As far as 'firsts' go we were all new to this camping stuff at one time or another. Yeah there is a learning curve, but you'll get it all figured out. Lots for friendly, knowledgeable and helpful people here to lend a hand if you need it.
