first rv

hello all,

Just bought my first rv, forest river sunseeker, im really excited to take the family on our first outing with no tents.

I have just found out that i have a crack in my gray tank, im thinking of pulling it out myself, has any one attempted this? Appreciate the feed back.

thanks guys,

Its a 1998 30' forest river sunseeker c class, i noticed some water leaking in the right hand side compartment of the rv, you can see the gray tank inside the compartment, on the left side were you dump it i see some abs plastic plumbing going into the gray tank, the mechanic said that it would have to be cut to remove and also plumbing in side rv would have to be removed along with removing some paneling to get to the plumbing.

he also said the tank couldnt be repaired but i found several sites that said it could be repaired.

hope that gives you a better idea of what i have.

Thx much
