First time TT owners from KS.

We purchased a 2006 Forest River Surveyor 235RS in March. The weather has been so cool here that we haven't had it out. "Camped" last weekend in our driveway and discovered a few things.
1) Propane leak on the dual tank regulator.
2) Could not get the stove lit
3) When awnings get wet, you should roll them out (this translates to hours of cleaning mold/mildew)
4) Somewhere we have an electrical short.

After we cleaned the awning, every time we touched the roller bar we got a jolt. There was also a charge on the refrigerator unit outside. No idea where this is coming from. Guess we need to trace some wires.

But not discouraged - we will figure it out.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the 'new to you' camper. Hope your get the minor problems sorted out and get out camping.

Any chance that the electric element on the HW is burnt out...I seem to recall someone mentioning that it could cause the grounding shock that you get.

Dave

HW?

By HW, you mean the hot water tank? I guess that could be an option. My husband said the first time he felt a minor spark was when we were checking the anode on the HW tank.
