Welcome from down the road a bit. I get up to East Texas as often as I can. Still love going to Canton for First Monday. Hope to see you down the road!

Word of caution about Tyler state park.... They are really bad about having power surges. We camped there a few months back and they had 3 one night. Thankfully, we have a hardwired Progressive 50amp surge protector and it caught all three...

A neighbor across the street in his brand new 40' fifth wheel (maiden trip) wasn't so lucky.... It fried some of his.stuff. He was really ticked that the dealer didn't suggest a surge protector for his new rig...

If you don't have a surge protector you might want to invest is one....

Power protector

Thanks Ernest for the tips, they are always appreciated. Fortunately I have installed a hardwire 50 amp Progressive surge protecter just last week. I have never installed one on our other FW and TT and had converter frying on both units. Maybe this was the problem. In the past our travel buddies have suggested to me to install one so after buying this unit I read up on them and installed a Progressive unit. Easy to install and I believe it will be great insurance.
