Red face Full Time Living

Hello:
Life has thrown me a curve ball and I have ordered a 2015 304BH travel trailer that I plan to use as a full time "residence" for two, maybe three years. I got the model with a bunk room to use for a storage/junk room. I plan to put the bunks and "U" seating area in a storage facility. I'll pick up a small table and chair set or just belly up to the sink island with a stool.

I have never owned an RV and only slept in one a few nights when hunting with a friend.

This newbie needs all your ideas to make this work. RV will be situated near the SC/NC line in Flatrock, NC.

Don't be shy. I need HELP! lol

What do you need help with?

The biggest thing for campers- don't leave your black tank open! Dump it when the tank is full. Otherwise, the liquids run down the sewer hose but the solids make a pyramid of yuck!

I'd suggest an external storage facility for the junk. These things can get cramped at times (from my boat experience) and there is never enough space for all the junk. Staying long term you will appreciate all the open space you can arrange.

Good luck!

Get rid of (or store) pretty much everything you don't use on at least a weekly basis. Get a (climate controlled) storage unit nearby to put all the stuff you think you're gonna use when you go back to bricks and sticks. Get some wardrobe boxes to store your "off season" clothes in - you can rotate summer/winter as the weather dictates. Buy consumables in "regular" sizes....that's just a few

One more thought - there are NO secrets in an RV, so you'd better be friends with whomever you share the space

Best of luck to you and yours!!
