Thumbs up Future TT owner from Nothern Michigan!!

Well we decided it was time to own up and purchase our first ever TT! We ordered up a 2013 Coachmen 292BH (awesome price and a great loan rate from our credit union prompted new instead of used) and was poking around online and came across this site. Thought why not! Like I'm not on enough forums! Anyway, this will be our first ever TT but we have camped all our lives with friends and family. With 3 kids the tent just doesn't cut it anymore! We did attempt to rent a popup few years ago and glad we did! We did not like it at all! Set up time and storage?? Might as well just use a tent! For the last few years since having the children we camped with the out-laws! Ugh!! If that don't make ya want to own your own RV I don't what will!! So anyway, can't wait to take delivery of our new TT and start RVing, already booked a weekend trip this Memorial weekend!! Just hope the coach shows up in time!!

You will like being off the ground.

Congratulations on your new trailer. As for what to expect when it arrives? Well... I recommend that your read through some of the threads on this topic. Realizing that its variable and kinda depends on what the factory is building at the moment and the availability of drivers to deliver the unit to your dealer.

Welcome to the site! But I should also warn you that you might be spending more time here and less time at the other sites.

Congrats on the new Coachmen! Sounds like you found the right deal for your family. The funny part about owning an RV is that some of us actually enjoy setting up camp even through its consider work by non-RVers.

Where are you going for your first trip?

Take care.

Gonna hit up Orchard Beach State Park in Manistee, MI! Was basically the only park we could find available for next weekend that was close to us. Don't want to go too far with being the first time ever hauling a rig of this size! The Coachmen will be delivered to us this Saturday so we can get a weekend of driveway camping in before we head out! lol

We've been to Orchard Beach SP several times and like it alot. We also like staying at the Little River Casino RV Resort in Manistee. Very reasonably priced...also full hookup, cable tv, free WiFi and use of the pool/spa. And usually availble.

Good to hear! Never been there but we love camping on Lake Michigan (been to Muskegeon SP many times!) so figured why not! We got the biggest lot we could so that the kids can ride their bikes around and what not. Should be interesting for being my first time towing and setting up a TT! But with the full power package, I would think it'll be pretty simple! lol
