Generator

I have a 2010 Stealth toy hauler with a 4000 onan generator. I bought this trailer brand new and have never been able to run this generator in warmer weather. It over heats and shuts down. A number of more experienced RV friends have looked at it and they all seem to feel that there is not enough air flow to keep the generator cool. The box space in which the generator is located is too small and completely in closed. Has anyone else had this problem and if so how do I correct it?
Thanks Keelyreg

Maybe put some fans in there to move the air around.

I'd see about venting the area maybe from below or sides. Should not be totally enclosed. By any chance it may be on a pull out tray? Later RJD
