Hello from some others from Southern Ontario.

We got our unit towards the end of last summer and can't wait for another season........as soon as the snow leaves.

What kind of unit did you buy? Have you thought about where you want to camp? If you're in the Toronto area, don't forget there's the upcoming RV show to give you ideas and the fever. It's at the International Centre February 24-27.

I did visit the Toronto RV show. Getting a Forester 3121.

I would like to visit Maine in later May - have you been there ? Any suggestions on Campsites ?

If you've been to the east coast...did you cross over at Gananoque or maybe into Vermont from Quebec ?

We have been to the east coast several times. I crossed over at Prescott. We found that Rogers campground in Lancaster NH was a good day drive. We camped at Kiwanas Oceanfront CG in St. Andrews NB. You will find St. Andrews a very nice place to visit. The CG overlooks the water. They have ocean view sites that cost a bit more but the view is great. The highway through the US are in good shape but are have a lot of twist and turns, very similar to highway 2 in Ont. I like going the US way because the scenery is better then the Canadian way. Because you are on a secondary highway you do drive through many towns. I found that if there was a truck route through the town it was a better way to go when towing a trailer. The route is shorter when going though the US but is takes longer to drive. One other plus when driving US side is cheaper gas prices.

I like the information as we have traded our pop-up to a Rockwood Roo 17, and planning a trip down east. We live not far from your crossover point and would like to avoid the Montreal traffic. I am always looking for other campers experinces and look forward to this site for interesting facts. We want to stay in Maine, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and maybe Quebec City. May need to stop overnight at the odd Wal-Mart

Welcome to the forum. If you go to Maine you have to visit Bar Harbour.
Wonderful campground called Bar Harbour campground closest to town.
Family run, first come first served so no reservations, cash only, both wooded, clear and large rv sites, some overlooking Acadia National Park

my wife and i are in north western wisconsin looking to go sleeping giant provincial park some friends said the thunder bay are is realy nice any other nice places within a days drive from thunderbay you would suggest for sight seeing by any chance?

if you are ever looking for a fairly quick but nice trip the Door countyin wisconsin in the fall is one of the most beautifull areas in the country "thats the part of wisconsin that stick out like a finger into lake michigan north east of greenbay"
