Greetings!

New guy here. I was directed to the FRF, while on another site asking for some info about a 2006 Rockwood travel trailer I may purchase later this evening. I'm about to become a full-timer, and will be spending the next several years (hopefully) in whatever travel trailer I purchase.

I'll go into more detail, all in good time!
I have looked at several tt's now, in person, and goodness, HUNDREDS, THOUSANDS, even, online! I hope this '06 Rockwood turns out to be the "one"!

Looking forward to reading, learning & joining in the conversations, here on the FRF!

Welcome to the forum Agent86. Rockwoods are nice trailers. Make sure you give it a thorough going over checking every appliance and signs of water infiltration.

Thank you!
I will check everything out, ESPECIALLY for signs of water intrusion. I asked in the other forum, but, if you, or anyone can tell me, will this 2006 RW (with fiberglass siding) have ALUMINUM or WOOD for the superstructure, including the roof-crossbeams? I really need this info!

it would help if you posted which model Rockwood you have, but it should be aluminum-framed if it has filon sides.

and Agent 86, tell 99 and the Chief, hello for me.

bikendan,

I have since purchased the trailer, it is aluminum framed, model is RLT 8314SS. 99 says "hi"! back atcha, and the Chief, well, we were using the Cone Of Silence, and he's STILL in there....I think he's stuck. He was yelling about something, but I couldn't hear him. Go figure.
