Greetings from California

Back here after a couple of years. It seems the people on this Forum are most interesting and makes this Forum a special place. I am a Happy Forest River Stealth owner. Thanks all!

Welcome back - we left the light on for you. Can I ask where do you like to camp?

Camping in California

Thanks for leaving the light on-Towing my 34ft Stealth sometimes limits the Campgrounds. The older parks and CG have 27 feet as max. With my schedule, it is hard to make reservations months before we know we are going. So I asked my Wife to find some spots. She did and it was Lake New Hogan. Up to 90ft pull through and 70ft back in. We have used Hogan many times. Also try Rolling Hills Casino RV park. Nice and at $28.00 is good. We tried Cache Creek Casino, but they were the worst Casino I have been to. Also try Jackson Casino RV park, a little stuffy though. Feather Falls in Oroville was nice, and friendly. Tried Yosemite Pines, nice CG, but the road (New Priest Grade) was hell. Very, very steep, climbs to 4-5000ft, and no guardrails. Watch the Movie, Long, Long Trailer with Lucy and Desi. That was filmed on the Old Priest Grade-wow! You need a Priest with you on that road for sure. We will never do that again! Don Pedro Lake and McClure Lake are great. Hope to scout out some secluded spots soon. Thanks for the reply.
