Greetings from Colorado

Found this forum doing a search for information on a recently purchased Windsong, and hoping to pick a few brains since it came without a manual.

So, first question: does anyone know where to get an instruction manual for 1998 Windsong? Checked the FR website with no luck, and no success through Google either.

the crappy generic owner's manual that FR supplies is not worth the paper it's printed on.
as far as i know, FR doesn't provide any model-specific owner's manual, just a generic one for all type of RVs. it only covers basic RV systems.
you'd be better off buying a RV handbook.

you can download most of the main things, from their manufacturer's website. such as the fridge/freezer, furnace, a/c, converter, water heater, and so on.
though not sure if they still have stuff for that old of a RV.

Thanks, I was afraid of that. We took it out over the Labor Day holiday for a shakedown cruise, and I was able to figure out most everything by prior experience or by trial-and-error. But there are still a few things which I was hoping a manual would detail.

Welcome to the Forums!!
WE LOVE Colorado!! If I was run out of Kentucky (which I also love)
I'd have to head for Colorado. Gotta love the mountains and beautiful
scenery!!

There are thousands of RVers lurking here.
If you have questions about your new (to you) trailer ask here.
I bet someone will have an answer.
One thing is for sure there will be opinions!

Happy Camping!
