Greetings from Illinois!!!

Hello all! Just picked up our new Freedom Express last Saturday, breaking it in this weekend. I can't wait!

I grew up camping with my family in a Viking pop-up and have many fond memories. The wife was not a big fan of camping but somehow convinced her to let me buy a Jayco hybrid last year. Me and the kids love it, she tolerates it. After a week at the Smoky Mountains this year, they decided that we needed a bigger camper, not the hybrid. I used this forum to research the Freedom Exp and tow vehicles (my Durango would not haul this baby). Hopefully, the wife will learn to tolerate camping more in this one but if not, me and the kids will give her many weekends of peace and quiet back at the house while we are out enjoying nature!

Thanks for all the great information!

Welcome from Southern Illinois. Hope you both begin to enjoy camping together. We treasured the time with our kids. They grow up before you know it. We're now taking the grandkids with us on trips.
