Greetings one and all. We're from southern Illinois and will pick up our Flagstaff 26RLWS in one week. We've had several travel trailers in the past but this will be our first Flagstaff. Empty nest and mom and dad are ready to start camping again. Gave it up while the kids were in college and such but we're excited to be back camping with our labradoodle Lilly!
Thanks! We've camped in Missouri several times when the kids were little. Working on a trip to Meramac (sp?) this fall. Always enjoyed MO but, being from Illinois, we enjoy any chance to get out of Illinois, if you know what I mean We've been getting the truck ready to tow and planning as many trips as we can get in before winter sets in. We live in Missouri near Meramec State Park but are very familiar with campgrounds in Southern Illinois and still go back to visit friends and SIU events. We camp at either Giant City State Park or Little Grassy. Lots of good campgrounds near Kentucky Lake and Paducah too.
If you ever get a chance to stay at Feryne Clyffe (I think that's how they spell it, it's not "normal") try it out. Very good state park with incredible trails.
