greetings from Louisiana!!!

My husband, son, myself and our two small dogs have been "learning" to rv for the last two years!! While we enjoy the ups there are always the frustrations of learning to be good rv'ers! My husband uses the camper to stay in at work, because he works away from home! However, we have taken many trips as a family (while not visiting the husband at work) since first getting our camper 2 summers ago!!!

you are so very right! I grew up less than a mile from Indian Creek which is located Woodworth south of Alexandria! we spend most of the year parked a Plaquemine due to.my husbands job as a millwright, which keeps him in Dow chemic!

Thanks everyone for the kind welcome!

We live in Addis, just north of Plaquemine. Try to camp at lease once a month. Plenty camp grounds in the Breaux Bridge area. Been to Indian creek. Lots of good info on these forums.

Hi LA...we are also LA Campers. Just purchased our first camper, drove to MI and camped for 5 days. Quite a journey for our first.
