Thanks all! I just posted this question in the WIldwood forum:

Just did a deal for a 2010 18BHXLLTD. One of the things we noticed was inside the entrance, straight across from the entrance, a little under the sofa were soft spots in the floor. Doesn't seem to be any water damage on top of the flooring (its a beautiful wood-look vinyl). We're obviously thinking its water damage but have no idea where to look first OR how to repair it. The previous owner said there's one year left on the extended warranty. Anyone know if it covers this type of damage?

Also, can I remove the rear 'back pack' to save weight? I will have no need for the fold down rack or extended 'bumper'.

Any help/insight is greatly appreciated. This is my first TT and want to do everything right.

We have been tent camping for years but just bought a wildwood xlite 185rb. I'm pretty nervous about towing and parking but I'm sure we will get it squared away. We pick ours up Easter weekend and will go directly to a campground and practice all weekend. Good luck with your new purchase!

Welcome to the forest river forum. I have found a lot of helpful info here. The people all seem to really help out. I'm originally from Grand Rapids, but now in Landing. I have only owned my travel trailer since the fall of last year, so from one newbie to another, welcome. There are a lot of places to go close by to where u live. Michigan is a great state for camping. We have found a nice camp grounds in Iona, which is not too far. Check out Alice Springs campgrounds & RV resort.

Gladstone (Happyrock) has a nice city campground to stay in. Last time we stayed it was neat, clean, and $25/ full hook up.
