Greetings from Nashville

Good evening all. Cliff from the Nashville Tn. area here.
Been hanging around the past week or so, just reading and learning. Must say that I’m impressed with how knowledgeable and friendly the membership here is. Please forgive my lack of contributing right now, but I’m in the reading/learning mode, as it has been over 30 years since I was Rving with my parents. Just picked up a 2011 Greywolf 19rr toy hauler, so Buddy (5yo Doby) and I are looking forward to our first trip this weekend to the Cherohala Skyway and Tail of the Dragon.
Thanks for having me and I look forward to meeting some new friends here.

Welcome and congrats. Been to the Dragon twice with our Work and Play toy hauler. If you are looking for a place to stay, send me a pm, (private message), I can recommend a great campground, very quite, very reasonable, full hook ups, not big rig friendly.

Welcome to the forums! Last time I was in Nashville there was still an "Opry Land" and I was too young to care about the Grand Ol' Opry and the Ryman. Hopefully we will get to visit again someday.

Thank you all for the welcome. It just confirms my first impression of this forum.
Windrider- Made my first trip to the Dragon last month, stayed at Deal's Gap resort and loved the area. Maybe we can hook up next year and ride it again.
Nwjeeper- Opry Land turned into a huge mall the locals call shopry land. It, the Grand Ole' Opry and the hotel were 15' under water during the flood back in May. If you do make it back this way, please give me a heads up.
Milzat- I think Buddy smells a road trip coming. When I got home tonight, he had his favorite stuffed toys at the door. Ready to go.
Tentcamper1- Next time you change Latitudes, please have a cheeseburger on me.
Mtnguy- Use to live in the Roanoke area. Spent a lot of time in the Shenandoah. Beautiful part of the country.
Once again, Thank you for the welcome. Gotta get packing, since I waited until the last minute to start.
Hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable weekend. Not too many left before winter sets in.

Congrats on the new tt. Enjoy that trip out. It's a great time of year to camp.
1991 was the last time I visited Nashville. Had a great time there.

Good luck and happy camping!
