HI Everyone!

While I am not new to camping, having previously owned a Jayco Eagle 10 pop-up, I finally upgraded to a Travel Trailer and joined this forum. I am a teacher and I like to go camping during the week with my dogs while my husband is out of town or working at home.

I have a Wildwood 185 X-Lite. This TT has proven to be perfect for me and my 6'6" husband. We made some modifications to the interior, first extending the bed to run wall to wall, changed the curtains and added drapes to close off the bed. We upgraded the mattress to an 8 inch memory foam from Sam's, and finally, removed a shelf in the cabinet to make room for a closet bar for hanging clothes.

My biggest problem is the let-down I feel the morning after having come home from a great trip to the lake or mountains. The only cure I have found so far, is to book another trip!

I just got back from Old Federal on Lake Lanier! Have a great trip!

You need to check out bald ridge. Defiantly a better camp ground. We are on our way back from Ohio. Spent a great time in Amish country. Later RJD
