Hello
My name is Jesi. Currently in Florida for work. I just bought a 2018 Catalina and can't get any help from dealership. They failed to provide me with any manuals, remotes, or customer service of any kind, so i decided to join and learn from you guys! Thanks.

Welcome. You can download any manual you might need. The manual for the camper is very generic though. The appliance manuals come in handy at times.

Did you look on Coachmen's website, cause they have downloadable owners manuals.

If you make a list of all dealers that did something wrong so you can avoid them, you won't have much left to chose from.

Welcome to the forum. Cant believe you did not get any of the manuals or your remotes. I'd look around in various places including the Microwave, refrigerator. If you did a PDI they should have turned on the tv and such with remotes. I'd be on them in a heart beat to get the items. later RJD

Hello and welcome from Arkansas. As stated the internet will be your friend on the instructions. Most of the time all the manuals are in a pouch/envelope.

Yes. I ended up emailing forest river. They had a remote in the mail that same day for me. Still no lights. Changed 3amp fuse to a 10 amp fuse. Remote will not program to receiver. I just want my awning lights to work... super frustrated.

 WHOA. Bad idea. Going with a larger fuse is always a bad idea. Going more than 3 times the size is a VERY bad idea. I understand you are frustrated, but you are going to create your own problems this way.

You say no lights? Are you plugged into shore power and is your battery fully charged? Most awning lights also have a wall switched that must be flipped on. Check control panel for "porch or awning" light.

I am plugged into power, battery charged, and switched turned on. Nothing happening. Tried to program the remote to receiver, nothing happening.

Remote to receiver? Can you let the forum know what type of remote and receiver you are having issues with? Odds are, others have had the same issues.

Found this on another thread.
"Coachmen stated it "Remote Starlight System is a remote operated power awning, LED awning light, and underbody LED system. You will need to make sure the power switch is flipped on inside the door for the lighting system to work." on the remote the UP button Awning in. Square button No function. Down Button Awning Out. Left button Dim Lights. Right Button Bright lights. Button between left and right arrow Light on hold for three seconds."
