Hello

New to the group today. Picking up my new Flagstaff next week and looking forward to hitting the road next month!

Any other Flagstaff owners in the group care to express your satisfaction with your RV?

Hi Doug, welcome to the forum and congratulations on your new rig! We have a 2018 Flagstaff MicroLite 21FBRS and are really enjoying it on our first real journey. It pulls very nicely, and the accommodations are perfect for the two of us. There are lots of threads here on the how to’s and what to NOT do, as well as many suggestions on how to pimp your ride. The folks here will be more than happy to share their opinions on any question you might have.

Thanks for the welcome MarinerJoe. Did you purchase an extended warranty? I’m looking at Good Sam.

We did not get an extended warranty. Our salesman had (incorrectly) said that Forest River offered a one year extension at a GREAT price, but that ended almost a year ago. I’m fairly handy in taking care of stuff, and am willing to do most of the things that need doing. Fortunately, nothing has failed - yet. I’d recommend at a minimum that you get a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) so you can keep an eye on your status while running. We went with the TST 507 color system and it works great. There are a BUNCH of other mods/enhancements I’ve made, and continue to learn as we go.
