Hello

Hello to all. We are Bill & Rene. We have ordered our first Forest River. We have had Jayco's in the past. We are expecting our 2012 Sunseeker 3170DS to arrive later this month. I have camped all my life, DH began camping when we married 35 years ago. I live to go camping. We are scheduled for a factory tour tomorrow and will hopefully see our trailer moving along the line to completion. This is my first participation in a forum, so I hope I am doing this correctly.

Welcome Bill and Rene! The factory tour sounds like fun. Enjoy the new Sunseeker.

Welcome!

We are also ordering our new TT. How did you go about scheduling a factory tour? We would also like to do that before ours is done. Did you just call the main Forest River line on the brochure?

DH called the dealer and ask about a factory tour. He gave us a number to call. 574-262-2212. The secy said to call 800-445-2825 from 8am to 12. To catch Roger to set it up Because tours start at 1. IN time and Roger is gone on the tours. We got right on the schedule. They were very friendly people. This is the class c motorhome section. I'm sure they could lead you to the tt section. Hope that helps!

Hope you enjoy the new TT. We have a few more weeks of waiting for ours. The factory said it goes on the line the 9th, hopefully arrives mid month.

We really enjoyed our Forest River Factory Tour in Elkhart, IN. on Friday. There were three of us on the tour. Roger was awesome. We walked thru every station of their production. Ask all kinds of questions. He was extremely knowledgeable. We learned alot, the construction was great to see. Just to know how everything was put together and where everything is . It was a very hands on experience. We walked all the way around every station, went inside, touch everything. Very glad we did this! Thanks Forest River.
