Hello

Hello Everyone, new to this site and as I was looking for more information about Rockwood Travel Trailer I found this site. I am looking to at a Rockwood 2010 Travel Trailer to travel in to see this great Country I live in, but found a nice used Rockwood and not sure if a used TT is any different from a new one except the price, and it has been used. The TT is 2010 Rockwood 2604, nice ans clean, but not sure what to look for if any defects, any advice is so welcome. Has anyone had troubles with the front window leaking?

Thank You
Betty

Hi Betty,
Glad you found us here! Feel free to browse around and explore. In my view a 2010 unit is still pretty new. A big thing to check for in any unit, new or used, is water damage.

I don't own a Rockwood but I know of a great group of members that can help shed some light on your questions. Click on the "Forum" tab and scroll about half-way down until you find Rockwood in the sub-forum of the "Fifth Wheels, Travel Trailer, Ultra Lites" section.

Take care.

Hello and to the group. Can't help much with your question, but do as stated above, we have a forum for most of the Forrest River brands of campers. There you will find the things specific to your brand of camper.

Also do a search on here for PDI. (Pre Delivery Checklist). You will find seveal, so print one out, and take with you to look at the camper. Get the owner to have power and water on it, and check everything on the list. I would also ask the owner if they kept a camping journal or records, and maybe look at it, to see how many miles towed. Thinking of tire and brake wear here.

Last thing, but should be first, what are you towing with, and can your tow vehicle safely handle it?
